Harried workers — some in business suits, others in pin-striped flannel shirtdresses — answered phones, gossiped by the water cooler, made photocopies and looked longingly at the dance pole as elevator music trickled from the speakers. Stella Corp. came to vivid, kinky life on the sixth floor of an office tower in Paris, desks strewn with binders, notebooks, coffee mugs and a cup holder full of nudie pens — and one sleek sex toy. Her fall show was a hoot, with Natalia Vodianova leading the office parade in a gray, double-breasted coatdress paired with glossy thigh-high boots, suggesting she might throw off her computer glasses and release her tight ponytail at quitting time.
